We have worked with several school districts in the Puget Sound region. JLR has also provided design services for school districts as far east as Wyoming and up and down the west coast. The projects we have been involved with to date have included elementary school warming kitchens, middle and high school full production kitchens, full time residence private schools as well as central kitchens. We pride ourselves on helping operators in the educational segment find solutions for the ever changing landscape of K-12 school food service.

The demand for knowing not only what is in your food, but where it came from is at the forefront of this methodology. When you think of museums, traditionally the first thing that does not come to mind is good food. But that is changing. JLR has been involved in several museum projects in the Seattle as well as few in the southern region of the country that are blurring the lines between elevated dining and museum exhibits.
We have designed commercial Kitchens in some of the most challenging and unique situations. One such project the Space Needle renovation. Our firm has also provided design for many hotel restaurants in the US as well as abroad.
